When I first came to BMC, I was experiencing severe withdrawal symptoms as a result of disconcerting an SSRI that I been on for many years. After Dr. Bains had me start the medication, again, and after about a week of receiving Neruostar, I began to feel better. A significant improvement was felt at about week 4. I began to continue to feel better, then a little worse, before feeling better once again. The treatment certainly was better than medications, etc, but was a significant time commitment. Overall, I feel much better.

Before starting treatments (TMS) I felt very depressed, cried a lot, couldn’t sleep very well, very controlling over things. I felt sad, angry, stressed over everything. Since I have completed my TMS treatments, I am much happier, recharged, and feel I do not get as angry, annoyed, or as stressed about everything. I have not felt this way in while and have been happier with myself. I cannot thank Dr.Bains and Vinnie, enough for this opportunity. Thank you both so much!

I feel that I can stand up for myself and I don’t have to worry about what people think of me or how I do things. I have more confidence, about myself that I can handle things better and on finance, handle my money. I need to learn + put my faith, trust in God, to deal with my burdens that seems to get in the way, and control my life, that I don’t have to put up with these burdens and I am not alone. I have look at stealing, and what I feel about this burden, I do not have to put up with this. I am learning not to bat myself up, on this problem that to face the situation on how it can control my life, on I can take change about this. It can neither destroy me, and I can stand firm and look at the results what can happen if I don’t stop stealing. Life is too short and precious to throw it away over stupid things and focus on what is important and what is not. My depression has decreased where I am learning to handle the situation. I believe that we all can handle situations, both we have to make a choice what you want to do as to handle it. Life has many choices, what we do with them is up to the individual on the road you want to take.

During early on this process I was very nervous that this was just a “phase” or not going to work for me. Through the sessions, my mind and emotions have become stronger and I have been able to overcome some milestones that would have brought me down. So happy I completed this journey. Thank you guys. When I first started treatment, I had been in bed since Jan 1st, 2019. I only got up to let my dog out and to eat some ready to fix proceed food. I had lost interest in everything, isolating myself and having little to no interaction with others. My meds were no longer working either and I was depressed. Dr. Bains recommend these treatments and after the 1/2 way point, things changed. I began to take care of myself, to shower daily, to fix healthy meals and to interact with my neighbors. I feel like the combination of mediation management, therapy sessions, and TMS worked together to contribute to a slight improvement in my mental health. At the end of this process, I’ve been able to make decisions that I believe will help continue to improve my overall well-being. I considered this option for almost a year before trying it. I’m glad that I waited to first work on med management and therapy, before adding in this treatment. While I have not yet had a reduction in med management I am optimistic that I will be able to reduce my medicines in the future as I make life changes.
